גֶּבֶר נֶעֱלַם.

אֶתְמוֹל אָמַר מִלִּים

וְהַיּוֹם אֵינֶנּוּ.

אֶתְמוֹל הִזְכִּיר רְגָשׁוֹת

וְהַיּוֹם אֵינֶנּוּ.

אֶתְמוֹל רָמַז אַהֲבָה

וְהַיּוֹם אֵינֶנּוּ.

כִּמְעַט וְקָנִיתִי כַּרְטִיס לִנְסֹעַ לִרְאוֹתוֹ

וְהַיּוֹם אֵינֶנּוּ.

נֶעֱלַם.

גֶּבֶר.

A man is gone.

Yesterday he said words

and today he is gone.

Yesterday he mentioned feelings 

and today he is gone.

Yesterday he implied love

and today he is gone.

I almost bought a ticket to see him

and today he is gone.
